Abstract:
Lei Zu was the concubine of the emperor Huangdi. She belongs to the emperor Yandi tribe. Her family name is jiang and lv. She lived in Xiping county, Henan province. She was the high priest in emperor Yandi tribe. After marrying emperor Huangdi, she shared in the power to sacrifice the earth. Lei Zu was the daughter of emperor Yandi. Emperor Yandi and Huangdi has united through marriages many times in the following generations with a lot of folklore proving it. The status of Lei Zu indicates that the Yan-Huang culture is the source of Chinese culture.
