Abstract: Shang Shu (Book of History) is one of the important references to the Great Chinese Dictionary. Some vocabulary entries and the first evidences are collected directly from Shang Shu. Some interpretation from Kong Anguo's notes,Kong Yingda's Zheng Yi or Shi Wen. Because of the rugged spread of Shang Shu, the severity of the variant stratification,the arcane meaning of the Scriptures and many schools of thought,there are still many mistakes when collecting some entries from Shang Shu in the Great Chinese Dictionary. Research on the variant of Shang Shu can not only find out and make up for these shortcomings, but also benefit the study of the history of Chinese language.
