Abstract:
During the epidemic period, how to report the epidemic efficiently and objectively, and give full play to and show the responsibility of the news media, is the first priority in front of the new media. New media, interactive strong, attaches great importance to the diverse groups, the information cost low characteristic, in the SARS period timely and fully disclose related information, for the whole society common platform and the basis is provided for resistance to disease, maintain the normal order of economic and social aspects of positive effect, but also present the lax, information transmission flood affected the public mood, the media and the public with the help of the new media to spread rumours, exposed the problems such as the public privacy. Therefore, in the post-epidemic period, new media communication should improve its credibility by purifying information, keeping up with the pace of epidemic prevention and control, focusing on timeliness and enriching reporting methods.
