Abstract: Doupeng Gossip reflects the changes of Ming and Qing Dynasties from many aspects. First of all, its narrative mode is the rare double-layer narrative in the novel, so as to separate a theatrical place of entertainment within the text, and outline a narrative framework with time logic by the natural growth of beans, and construct a "Doupeng order" different from the ruling group; secondly, through the subversion of history, it reveals the other side hidden behind the official history, to achieve satire and criticism of some phenomena of the current situation; thirdly, Doupeng Gossip reflected and criticized the social order from many aspects, formed the corresponding gossip space with official language, and put forward the idea of constructing social order according to the natural principle.
