Abstract: As the mouthpiece of the Party, People's Daily adheres to its aim of serving the people wholeheartedly, implements the Party's guidelines and policies, actively follows the mass line, and publishes a large number of reports closely related to the people. People's Daily reported on the land reform movement during the liberation-war period from the aspects of eliminating the landlord class, breaking the feudal hierarchy in the countryside, improving the political consciousness of the peasants, and typical publicity, giving full play to the public opinion role of the Party newspaper. As the media and carrier of the land reform movement, People's Daily fully embodies the value and social responsibility of serving the land reform in a specific historical period, which not only helps the Party bind people together in the land reform, but also establishes the ruling prestige of the Party and lays a solid foundation for the victory of the Chinese revolution.
