Abstract:
Based on the questionnaire, we have investigated the mediating role of moral disengagement between parenting style and aggressive behavior. The results show that: (1) The emotional warmth of parenting style significantly and negatively predict moral disengagement and aggressive behavior, while punishment and refusal dimensions of parenting style significantly and positively predict moral disengagement and aggressive behavior; (2) moral disengagement significantly and positively predict aggressive behavior; (3) moral disengagement plays a mediating role between positive parenting style and aggressive behavior, while moral disengagement plays a mediating role between negative parenting style and aggressive behavior. The results show that college students' aggressive behavior is not only directly affected by parenting style, but also indirectly influenced by the mediating role of moral disengagement.
