Abstract:
Based on the quality measurement index of trade agreement put forward by Hofmann, this paper measures and analyzes the quality of trade agreements signed in the areas along "one belt and one road", and draws the following conclusions: the coverage and execution rate of the "WTO+" clauses in the regional trade agreements along the line is higher than that in the "WTO-X" clause; the quality of the trade agreements signed by the developed countries is higher than that in the developing countries, taking into account the regional development. As a whole, the quality of regional trade agreements along the line is relatively low, and the quality of trade agreements signed by China is relatively low, but there is an obvious growth trend. In the future, trade agreements concluded by all countries along the belt should be developed in the direction of high quality trade agreements and promote the integration of trade agreements with the "one belt and one road" initiative.
