Abstract:
Music art is an important carrier of culture, and the carrier of sound, musical instrument, is the most straightforward phenomenon of "images for expression". The attitude and concept towards music and art by ancient Chinese is well epitomized by the shape, structure as well as timbre of Chinese huqin instruments overtime. This article studies the shape, structure, material, timbre as well as the artistic characteristics and the relationship between them to explain the impact on the shape, structure as well as timbre of huqin instruments from the implements view of "artifacts made in their inherent appearance", elaborating on the following three aspects:confirmation of the shape and structure of huqin, timbre of Chinese huqin as well as the musical performance of huqin.
