Abstract: Vocational Ability Standard for College Counselors (Provisional) points out the direction for the realization of the goals of standardization, specialization and professionalization of college counselors. But there are still some problems:the content system of counselors' professional ability construction is imperfect, the definition of their professional ability development level is not clear, and the supporting system is missing. We need to continue to improve the content system construction of counselors' professional ability, improve the system guarantee system, evaluation and professional development mechanism, so as to give full play to its function and value.
