Abstract: The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy is an important part of building a well-off society in an all-round way in China, involving many aspects and problems, among which the revitalization of rural culture is an important part of the rural revitalization strategy and shoulders the core meaning of the topic. Rural culture endows villagers' life with meaning and rural society orderly, and rural culture is the cultural support and spiritual power for rural revitalization. The rapid flow of rural population and the change of rural China lead to the decline of rural culture in Xinyang, and the impact and dissolution of traditional culture in Xinyang caused by urbanization and globalization make the rural culture construction face a dilemma. The development path of rural culture in Xinyang should be as follows: form the joint efforts of government, society and villagers to promote the revitalization of rural culture; promote the reconstruction of rural cultural value in Xinyang and realize the connection of historical value, contemporary value and future value; explore the spiritual connotation of rural culture in Xinyang and enhance the self-confidence and self-esteem of rural culture; promote the modern transformation of rural culture in Xinyang by means of simultaneous protection and utilization.
