Abstract: The new era calls for new theory. There is no doubt that the new revolutionary history theory is a highlight in the research field of Chinese revolutionary history. The traditional view ever suffered cold shoulder because of its theoretical limitations, but revolutionary history occupied an important position in modern China, it is impossible to say goodbye to studies in Chinese revolutionary history. These famous scholars, like LI Jinzheng, XIA Mingfang, ZUO Yuhe, WANG Qisheng, etc, after rethinking the traditional views, study Chinese revolutionary history by using new ideas and methods from the social and cultural perspectives, then put forward and construct the theory of new revolutionary history. Professor LI Jinzheng of Nankai University is the earliest author and practitioner. This essay is about to inspecting the construction of this new theory, focusing on his viewpoint and carrying out the investigation.
