Abstract: According to Shuijingzhu (Notes on Book of Water), Professor Jin Rongquan used Shihe River's Estuary into Huaihe River as an important landmark tor judge the location of the ancient Jiang state. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many historical materials have proved that the estuary of Shihe River into Huaihe River has always been located in the west of Tudian village, Zhumadian city. To some extent, it is the one-sided inspection of modern geomorphology, and we can say Jin Rongquan's analysis might be questioned.
