Abstract:
LIU and DENG's Army marching over to the Ta-pieh Mountains is a comprehensive military strategy choice under a condition when there is no support in the rear place. The history of the LIU and DENG's Army marching over to the Ta-pieh Mountains has been researched by the academia, though with a focus of descriptive analysis of military history of war in 1980s while with a focus of the economic and livelihood measures adopted when marching over to the Ta-pieh Mountains since 2000. The academia's researches on the LIU and DENG's Army marching over to the Ta-pieh Mountains remain to be further developed, like uncovering more historical materials, especially historical information in relation with the nationalist party; furthermore, the research vision needs to be expanded, for example, researches on the history of military war may not be only limited to military combat in description and analysis, but to corresponding economic, social factors etc., which interfere mutually. Oral history research needs to be further verified with archival materials, and academic norms need to be further strengthened.
