Abstract: There was a profound historical and cultural origin between Henan and Taiwan. Relevant academic research began as early as the 1980s and continued to deepen. After the improvement of cross-straits relations, the two-way communication of the youths between Henan and Taiwan has become increasingly rich, due to the promotion of the National Taiwan Office, Taiwan Union and Henan Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, Taiwan Union and Henan Education Department, as well as the participation of the relevant colleges and universities. These activities mainly included cultural experience, academic lectures and topic discussions. It achieved remarkable results, which not only deepened the mutual understanding of the youths, but also further promoted the Chinese cultural identity and national identity of the youths. However, compared with the two-way communication between Fujian and Taiwan and that between Hubei and Taiwan, it still has a lot of short board, which could be repaired through innovating the two-way communication mode, integrating the local cultural resources of Henan province, expanding education communication and establishing the communication of the cultural creative industries, etc.
