Abstract: Contemporary college students are the important inheritance subjects of our traditional festival culture. Enhancing their traditional festival culture awareness and behavior is conducive to the inheritance of Chinese excellent traditional culture, the cultivation of their patriotism, the enhancement of their national cohesion, and the promotion of building socialist core values. At present, college students' festival culture awareness is weak, and the content and format of traditional festival activities are not strong. Due to the intrusion of the foreign festivals into China, the lack of festival legalization and education, the culture awareness and behavior of college students have been greatly affected. Enhancing the traditional festival culture awareness and behavior of college students is a systematic project that requires the help from the government, society, schools and individuals.
