Construction of Public Opinion Monitoring System of Grassroots Government in Internet Environment

Public opinion is a collective reflection of people on specific social phenomena, incidents or problems. It is filled in every corner of cyberspace and shows many characteristics of diverse forms and different scales. To a certain extent, the benign public opinion demonstrates the freedom of speech and the level of democracy in politics and becomes an important basis for making and implementing administrative decisions. Based on the public opinion triggering mechanism and mode of transmission under the Internet environment, a systematic and efficient Internet monitoring system of public opinion will be constructed from the perspectives of institution setting, early warning system design, emergency response and post-recovery, so as to improve the efficiency and quality of network public opinion monitoring.
