Abstract
With changes in productivity and technological progress, labour values have undergone four transformations: the ethical view of labour, the standardized view of labour, the digital view of labour, and the human-machine collaborative view of labour.Artificial intelligence technology is profoundly reshaping the value significance and practical paradigm of labour education. In this era, the value of labour education is mainly manifested in three dimensions: productive value, educational value, and cultural value. The practical challenges of labour education are manifested in three aspects: at the cognitive level, the risk of labour alienation and the lagging nature of traditional labour education concepts; At the value level, the diversification of the value created by labour and the singularity of labour education evaluation standards; and at the practical level, the iterative crisis of labour subject capabilities and the structural imbalance of labour education supply. Innovation in labour education requires the coordinated efforts of society, education departments, and educators in terms of concept innovation, practice innovation, and evaluation update. This includes establishing a human-machine collaborative view of labour and cultivating technical critical ability; updating the curriculum content of labour education and building an education model that integrates the ‘three creations'(innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship); and fostering a pluralistic view of labour values and constructing a new mechanism for labour education.
