Political Economy Critique and Response Strategies for Platform Capitalism

Abstract
As a response to economic crises and a derivative of the digital economy, platforms are forms that are generally compatible with capital. As a new phenomenon in contemporary capitalism, platform capitalism represents new changes in labor-capital relations. Although the proliferation path of platform capitalism is diverse, its essence is the exploitation of digital labor. Siernacek failed to see that a country with obvious institutional advantages has the ability to promote the standardized, healthy and sustainable development of the platform economy through national regulation of platforms, the establishment of cooperative platforms and the creation of shared platforms. Only by mastering the fundamental principles of Marxism, fulfilling the fundamental requirements endowed by the new era, recognizing one's own relational existence, and consciously promoting self-revolution can individuals effectively prevent the erosion of the “matrix empire” and shape a sound personality.
