Construction of a Measurement Model and Scale Development for Kindergarten Teachers' Professional Achievement

  • Kindergarten teachers' Professional Sense of Achievement affects their willingness to stay in their jobs and their commitment to their work, and is an intrinsic core of kindergarten faculty stability. Based on the analysis of grounded theory and 1106 kindergarten teachers, the core categories of Kindergarten teachers' sense of professional achievement are finally established into four dimensions: occupational material achievement, occupational relationship achievement, occupational spiritual achievement and occupational development achievement. The revised scale has total of 30 items, demonstrating good reliability and validity, and it exhibits a significant correlation with the criterion correlation validity measurement of the occupational well-being scale and job engagement scale, which meets requirement of measurement. This scale can be used as one of the measuring tools to predict the intrinsic stability of kindergarten teachers.
