The Value Implications, Realistic Challenges and Model Construction of Modern and Contemporary Prose Teaching in Junior High School:from the Perspective of “Critical Reading and Expression” Task Group

  • Critical reading and expression, as one of the developmental learning task groups in junior high school, is of great significance to teachers’ Chinese teaching and the cultivation of students’ core literacy. Modern and contemporary prose is an important content of junior high school Chinese teaching, which contains rich emotional experience and profound humanistic value, and shoulders the important task of carrying forward the humanities of Chinese subject. In prose teaching, paying attention to critical reading and expression can guide students to deeply understand the humanistic value and profound philosophy contained in modern and contemporary prose. Based on the problems in the actual teaching, this paper constructs the teaching strategy in the context of “reading-questioning-thinking-understanding”. In the “reading” link, we should use reading expectation to stimulate students’ autonomous learning, skillfully set questions in the “questioning” link, train students’ speculative thinking, advocate text close reading in the “thinking” process, cultivate students’ personalized interpretation, guide students to carry out cooperative learning in the “understanding” link, to highlight students’ dominant position. In this way, critical reading and expression will be carried out throughout the classroom teaching, in order to enlighten teachers’ teaching and help students' thinking improvement.
