Common Prosperity: Unswerving Original Mission of the Communist Party of China

  • Achieving common prosperity for all is the fundamental goal of socialism. As a key objective of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in serving the people’s interests, common prosperity has always been the Party’s unswerving mission, guiding its efforts with a strong sense of purpose. Common prosperity embodies the people-centered development philosophy, reflecting a clear commitment to putting people first and upholding their welfare. Rooted in the historical materialist belief that the people are the decisive force in driving social progress, it vividly illustrates how the Party’s century-long struggle has been dedicated to securing and safeguarding the people’s well-being, and fighting for their liberation, dignity, and happiness. In the new stage and new journey, it is necessary to adhere to the comprehensive leadership of the Party, consolidate the material foundation of the common prosperity of all the people, enrich the common prosperity of the people’s spiritual life, and continuously improve institutional frameworks to promote substantial progress in realizing the common prosperity for all.
