A Research Review of the Image Communication of the Communist Party of China——Bibliometric and Visualization Analysis Based on CiteSpace (2008-2023)

As an important social hot spot since the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the study of image communication has attracted wide attention in the academic world. With the title "Image communication of the Communist Party of China (CPC)" searched in the literature database of CNKI, based on CiteSpace software, literature metrology and visualization analysis of the research results from 2008 to 2023 are carried out. The results show that since 2021, the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China as the starting point, related research keeps heated, and this research will continue to become a hot object in the future. At present, the academic circle has built up a research paradigm around the image communication of the CPC from the aspects of theory logic, method and path, value and utility, and has obtained certain achievements. However, there are still some practical deficiencies, such as the research horizon needs to be expanded, the research content needs to be deepened, and the research theoretical system needs to be strengthened. Therefore, by expanding the research horizon, deepening the research content, building the research theory system and so on, the paper continuously deepens the research on the image communication of the Communist Party of China.
