On the Theoretical Approaches of Contemporary Cognitive Enactivism and Its Philosophical Reflection

The generation of cognitive enactivism has its disciplinary resources of cognitive science and the foundation of phenomenological philosophy. On the basis of challenging, criticizing and surpassing the paradigms of traditional cognitive science, at least three coexisting theoretical approaches to cognitive enactivism have been developed:autopoietic enactivism, sensorimotor enactivism and radically enactivism. These theoretical approaches have different emphases and conclusions on the research of the theory, which also indicates that the research of contemporary cognitive enactivism presents the landscape of complicated "warring States'contention". These theoretical approaches have important ontological, epistemological and methodological significance of philosophy, but also expose the definite fuzziness, controversy and incompleteness. Therefore, we need to give philosophical reflection to them, which is of great significance to reveal the complexity of the research program of contemporary cognitive enactivism and the development of enactive cognitive science in the future.
