The Pursuit of Human Existential Significance from the Perspective of AI Existential Risk

According to Marxist relevant theory, the significance of human existence is to constantly surpass the reality through the practical activities in line with human nature, that is, creative labor. However, due to the long-term alienation of human survival, people gradually lost the motivation and ability to pursue the significance of existence. The deep challenge of super-intelligence to the significance of human existence does not lie in causing unemployment, but in the fact that human beings who lose the motivation and ability to pursue the significance of existence may completely lose their human nature in "doing nothing". Therefore, in order to deal with the deep challenge caused by super-intelligence, we should stimulate the creativity of each individual, create an atmosphere of paying attention to creative labor in the society and promote the co-evolution of human and intelligent machines. Then the human beings will constantly surpass the reality.
