Exploring the Archives Value and Promoting the Construction of University History Museum

With the development of university education in China, The construction of university history museum(UHM)is rising gradually. It's found that the UHM plays an important role in the university construction and development, such as displaying the university history, inheriting the campus culture, external propagandizing and promoting the construction of the archives. However, there are also some problems in the construction of the UHM, such as inadequate functioning, the poor management, the monotonous display mode and content of the documents, and the poor preservation and timely update of the documents. Based on these, the university should focus on building a UHM with distinguishing characteristics, comprehensively improving the quality and quantity of archives in the UHM, and especially strengthening the construction of digital UHM.
