On the National Sacrifices and the Poetry Writing about the Image of Yan Emperor in Song Dynasty

  • The national sacrifices of Yan Emperor in Song dynasty includes those of Wufang Emperor, Gansheng Emperor, Ming Tang, JiTian, La and Yan Emperor Temple. These national sacrifices have both inheritance and innovation to the previous generation. Especially the Yan Emperor temple's sacrifice play a vital role in transmitting the faith of Yan Emperor. These national sacrifices construct the faith which has both God of Agriculture and God of Fire about Yan Emperor in people who live in the Song dynasty. They contain the faith of God of Medicine which makes up the main context of Song poetry that expresses the image of Yan Emperor. Through the praise to Yan Emperor, the people in Song dynasty show the mind of human-oriented for people, good wishes for country and benefit mankind for people healthy.
