The Influence of Natural Connection on Teenagers' Pro Environment Tendency

Teenagers are the future of our country. It is an important measure of ecological civilization construction to cultivate their pro environment tendency. 996 adolescent students were investigated by using natural connection scale, gratitude scale, competitive narcissism scale and pro environment tendency scale to explore the relationship between natural connection and pro environment tendency, and the intermediary role of gratitude and competitive narcissism. The results showed that natural connection was positively correlated with gratitude and pro environment tendency. Competitive narcissism was negatively correlated; gratitude was negatively correlated with competitive narcissism, and positively correlated with Pro environment tendency; competitive narcissism was negatively correlated with pro environment tendency. Natural connection significantly predicted the pro environment tendency of adolescents, and gratitude and competitive narcissism played a part of the mediating role. Therefore, strengthening the connection with nature is an important measure to enhance the pro environment tendency of teenagers.
