The Connotation of Marxist Enlightenment View and Its Enlightenment in the New Era
-
Abstract
In the process of reflecting on the Enlightenment of the 18th century, Marx and Engels constructed their "enlightenment view", which is to say that the Enlightenment thought has the characteristics of materialism, its class foundation is the emerging bourgeoisie, and it is expressed in economics as the classical economics of the bourgeoisie. However, it is still essentially a camp of idealism and is temporary. The Marxist "enlightenment view" helps us reflect on the "Enlightening Trend of Thought" in the 1980s, so as to enhance confidence on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
