Abstract: As an intangible cultural heritage, the Cotton-Bottom Cloth Shoe carry the traditional cultural memory with endemicity, the craftsmanship of the inheritors and the hope of the local people to get rid of poverty and become better off. The creation of documentary provides a platform for the Cotton-Bottom Cloth Shoe to enter the public's field of vision, and explains the continuous development of folk skills in cultural inheritance and dissemination. Our field investigation, research and intangible cultural heritage documentary creation are based on the inheritors' memoir, pay attention to the production process and dynamic changes of the Cotton-Bottom Cloth Shoe, interpret the cultural connotation and radiation of this cultural heritage. Furthermore, we focus its survival dilemmas faced by the lifestyle and cultural change, and discuss solution from producers, designing concepts and improving people's wellbeing in the video recording, and reflect on the cultural heritage visualization.
