Abstract:
With the help of the classification of eight categories of verbs in Modern Chinese by HUANG & LIAO, the "v bu v" structure (verb + or not) was retrieved in the CCL corpus and all the retrieved corpus was analyzed in detail. The result turns out that seven types of verbs can appear in the "v bu v" structure and its distribution is very uneven, and six types of verbal phrases can enter the structure and exist different forms. Judgment verbs are most widely distributed in the "v bu v" structure, and next to it is possible, willing and necessary verbs, which account for about four-fifths of the total structure.
