Abstract:
The university library micro-channel public platform has the characteristics of immediacy, inclusiveness, and convenience. Since 2012, through exploration and development in recent years, it has gradually developed into a new front for readers and libraries to communicate with each other. It is such a media that integrates information push, self-service, and mobile library services, and is recognized by more and more readers. Its application status of the micro-channel platform for university libraries is summarized in four aspects:information push service, panning service, mobile library service and extension service. The micro-channel platform of university libraries is rapidly developing. In the future, it should develop in the direction of collecting and utilizing big data, strengthening active services, and developing with its own characteristics.
